Full Circle

full circle tree

Full circle—the world really is changing.  I know because I’ve been there and remember how it felt just before the ‘big bang,’ the orgasm, the branching into the true unknown.  We think we know it and what it will be like because we see it before us every day of our youth, but to see it from the humble sapling looking up, and to be there now, we feel all of it—cause and effect!  We can control our limbs and feel them all at once.  This beauty is breathtaking from here, so we pass it down, knowing the breath now too.  It goes to those striving young ones, who don’t yet realize… I am you and we speak the language of grace, and keep your ears open to know the state of our world.  Keep the heart in motion to nourish us all with blood prayers.  Ask in this way and you shall have it.

You have a special gift, or in my words talent, and would love to one day hear your take on what baptism is.. Not a dig, an honest inquiry from a mind that never stops questioning what confronts it

That you should write so on the day of my daughter’s baptism–such a synchronicity cannot be overlooked. I myself have had a mystical baptism, the only waters a nameless stream from a glacier somewhere above and the only priest the words of Psalm 23 reverberating in my soul, and just me saying (finally) yes to God.

Maybe some day I will post a more detailed account of that Holy Spirit-filled day. Thanks for asking…
